Hon'ble Mr. Justice Narayan Roy, M.A., LL.B  :-  His  Lordship was born on February 01, 1947. He was enrolled as an Advocate on September 05, 1972 and practiced  mainly in   Civil,  Criminal  and Constitutional  sides in  the Patna High Court. He was appointed  as Government   Pleader  at  Ranchi  Bench on  September 01, 1986. Thereafter,  he became Government Advocate  of Ranchi Bench in the year 1990 and continued  as such  till His  Lordship's  elevation  to the  Bench.  He was appointed as  a permanent Judge  of the Patna High Court on December 02, 1991

Took   oath  as the Chief  Justice   of  the  Rajasthan  High  Court   on January 05, 2008.
